George L. Ruff, Jr. founder and Principal of GLR & Associates, Inc., has more than 20 years experience in real estate development and investments including: site selection/acquisition; market and economic analyses; due diligence; finance; project management; asset management; and disposition.  Prior to forming GLR & Associates, Mr. Ruff served as a partner and chief executive officer at Oakfield Development Corp, where he managed the development and investment initiatives for over 900-acres of commercial and residential real estate investments in Northern Illinois and Southeast Wisconsin.  In addition, Mr. Ruff co-founded Triple Play Netlease Investments LLC, an entrepreneurial real estate development firm, where he sourced, engineered and executed investment placements and dispositions for nationally recognized retail tenants.  As a financial analyst and asset manager for Financial Investments Corporation, a boutique investment firm whose principals include the investment banking family of Mr. Harrison Steans, Mr. Ruff was engaged in due diligence and underwriting assignments on various domestic and international real estate acquisition and development opportunities including office, retail, commercial and residential.  Mr. Ruff also served as a financial analyst for Trinity Investment Trust LLC, a private equity hotel investment and development firm, where he engineered an automated asset management model, a platform used to analyze the acquisition, underwriting and asset management of luxury resort hotels and commercial real estate.
